Norfolk - again!

Post by JudyN »

We have a much bigger cottage this year than last, which is a whole lot more relaxing for all of us!

Thank you :D

We found our way to a field smothered in poppies (not puppies  ) this morning, which we'd spotted from the road. It was stunning:

Being in Norfolk, I was quite pleased that I spotted a Norfolk terrier yesterday. At least I'm pretty sure it was. I've also spotted two Dandie Dinmont, which seemed surprising as they're relatively rare.

I absolutely love the picture of him smelling the flowers!

You've done well to see some rare breeds! I've never seen either outside of conformation shows

I'm jealous. There are very few, if any, dog- friendly vacation rentals in the United States. And what there are certainly aren't as elegant as that.

That's a shame, Fundog. We're very lucky. Many cottages state that dogs aren't allowed in the bedrooms, but even then, if we explain that our dog needs to sleep in with us but will not go on the bed, and offer to pay an extra deposit, they often relent.

I tried to upload a video of Jasper on the beach, but the internet here goes at Norfolk speed and isn't up to the job
