We're just back from Norfolk, and on the verge of booking another holiday there for next year
The beaches were unbelievably empty.
This is (obviously) low tide. You do have to be aware of the tides, as they come in fast and you could suddenly discover you are on an island
And then there's the marshes:
'Keep up, Dad!'
We did have to be careful when he got hot and might want to find a mud wallow....
When the tide was coming in you could hear the water bubbling up from underneath in places like this... if Jasper had leapt in I wouldn't be at all surprised if he sank completely out of sight

Time to relax:
and sleep:
Back at the cottage:
Cooling off:
More mud:
This was interesting - all those white specks are dead crabs. We were in the dunes a fair way from the sea at that point, in amongst long grass and wild flowers, and I wouldn't have thought the sea gets up to there often, if ever - they look as if they were dredged up, but it's a bit of a mystery...
Here's a video of one of the beaches and, at the end, Jasper having a 'moment' - I think OH stopped filming just before Jasp jumped up

Re: Norfolk
Wow. What a landscape!
Pity you had to take Jasper somewhere he'd be so miserable in every photo

Judy,
Thanks for the photos. It is always great to see places I probably would never have seen otherwise.
Jsaper didn't look too bad. He isn't covered in mud. i
I would have loved to have seen him sprawled out on the floor with people walking around him to go to the loo, though.
