Despite the look on her face, Cricket actually does enjoy when I needle her!

What are the acupuncture needles fir with Cricket? What is the ailment that you are using the needles on her? Just curious. I had never heard of acupuncture for dogs. She seems to be taking it s lot better than I would be. :D

The points near her head are for calming, sedation, and hip/back pain. The points on her back are for hip/back pain. The points surrounding her hips are for (shockingly) hip pain. The one near her knee was supposed to be for upper leg pain, but I mixed up my points and that's actually an anti-vomiting/anti-diarrhea point.

Veterinary acupuncture is actually an up and coming service offered, so I'm using what I learned in vet school and expanding my knowledge, using my very own two guinea pigs...
