... it's OH playing the flute bit to Stairway to Heaven. But Jasper isn't impressed.
'You've been eating mince pies again, haven't you, Dad?'
'That horrible squeaky thing in there has gone quiet now...'
or alternatively...
'Don't ask me what the fingering is for G sharp, I haven't a clue!'

JudyN,
Love the photos and the captions. It is great the way you show the interactions between Jasper and OH.
Is OH a professional musician? I would love to hear Stairway to Heaven.
Jasper looks absolutely lovely in these photos. Captures his profile beautifully and shows his size nicely.
He is a very beautiful dog.

Re: What's that awful noise?
The 1st picture shows a great moment the two of them are having - one playing, the other listening, it doesn't get much better than this between a man and his dog!
Good boy Jasper!
This picture has future, seriously

Re: What's that awful noise?
Thank you both
Diane, he's in a band that plays local pubs, but that's just for beer money [quick plug: https://www.facebook.com/thesilverhorses]. But he's always enjoyed tinkering with different instruments. At the last count we have a recorder, 2 saxophones, 2 clarinets, 2 electric guitars, one acoustic guitar, 2 bass guitars, a piano, harmonica and an electronic drumkit (the acoustic drumkit is out on loan...). And the whole of underneath that table is taken up by various amps, speakers, cables etc. It's a wonder we have room for a big dog
The photos also illustrate well how tabletops are not safe places in our house
