I've started going through old forum posts (on a couple of other forums) in preparation for the book that may or may not see light of day, but can see I'm going to get distracted by all the pics of my 'little angel' as a puppy so thought I'd bung ones worth sharing in this thread. So here's one for starters...
The teddy still has sawdust all over it from when we gave it to him and his littermates, thinking that if it picked up their smell it could comfort him when we got home. Would you believe that it still has all but one of its limbs, and hasn't been destuffed? Maybe he thinks it is one of his siblings

Oh he is sooooo adorable! And I'm sure you've shown recent photos of him sleeping inthe same position as the first photo, right?
Re: Puppy pics
I have pics of him sleeping in all sorts of positions! I can't remember a specific one... I'll have to keep an eye out for it.Sweetie's Human wrote:And I'm sure you've shown recent photos of him sleeping inthe same position as the first photo, right?
It's interesting all the things I've forgotten over the years. I came across a post I'd made shortly after his first bone-guarding moment, when he was only about 3 months old. Not only was he growling (at me just being near, I hadn't tried to take it off him), but he was trembling because he was so anxious Just imagine the frame of mind you'd have to be in to tremble at the approach of someone, even if they've never hurt you or taken things off you If it's not caused by experience, it must be hard-wired. When he fell out of that cute tree, I'm pretty sure he landed on his head

Oh my gosh, beautiful pics!!!
I wonder why I've had it in my head all this time that Jasper was an adult rescue for you. Anyway, what a cute, leggy, ball of fluff he was.

He's just too cute for words, that B&W pic has to be the cover for the book, it would fly off the shelves with the cuteness of him
