Chetan is a full-blood Hedlund Gray Husky, not quite 2 years old. After her run yesterday I captured a photo of her just chillin' out and watching all the various activities going on around her in the kennel.

I find it interesting to observe the way different breeds lay down. she's clearly relaxed and yet, she's got her rear legs tucked well under her. she lays down the same way I've seen dal's and huskys lay down.Swanny1790 wrote:Chetan .....just chillin' out
my springers do something I've never seen in any other breed. i'll try and describe it .........they'll lay down but are more stretched out. both rear paws are on the ground as if they were standing. but are positioned behind their hips. their hocks are perpendicular to the ground. I think this is possible only because they have short hocks rather than the longer ones that your breed has.
