I spotted a bee orchid in the sand dunes! Is it a sign of middle age when this gets me excited?

Sorry about OH's feet which snuck into shot
OH when he realised that he wasn't going to make it to the beach after all... I tried to carry on with Jasper but he refused to leave OH behind.
All tuckered out

Aww the asleep one is so sweet!
And no, I would be mega excited about seeing the bee orchid too!
Looks lovely, the sand dunes look very similar to our dunes here (southport/formby) although the beaches here probably aren't as clean.

I have to echo Nettle, Jasper is quite the handsome lad!
And your picture of the bee orchid is lovely! I have never seen one before, so that was a treat!

Thank you! There will be some more pics of Jasp and some stunning scenery when I get my hands on OH's photos.
In the meantime, I found me a new hobby to do in between all the walks:
I was really pleased with the two lurchers, particularly the rough one:
I fancy trying a range of breeds; I think it'll be a while before I'm taking commissions though

You're on! I just need to find some orange Fimo now... Though I may have to investigate armatures, as he's even lankier than your average lurcher!minkee wrote:Count me in for a one of Breeze when you feel up to those ears!
