I promised his breeder new photos of Friday. He's named after Friday Creek, in Denali National Park. Friday is a Hedlund husky, a pretty rare line of Alaskan sled dogs bred by Rose and Nels Hedlund of Lake Illiamna, and quite famous for producing a large percentage of leaders and for their versatility. These were dogs you could use to haul freight cross country on Wednesday, and compete well in a sled dog race on Saturday.
