Yes, really, this is what he looks like when he's decided it's time to go out. But why bother shifting until your servant has closed down her pooter, gone for a wee, collected lead, muzzle, poo bags, treats, keys, etc, and got her coat & boots on? At which point he finally gets up, joins me in the hall.... walks into the front room, and decides to have another lie down for a while

Zeus does much the same thing, except his volume control is often broken and his pre-rising barks are sometimes loud enough to shake the windows. But Jasper's not completely alone in this quirk.
