Thank you everyone It's funny - I'm already so used to how he looks he doesn't look 'striking' to me, I'd forget how unusual he looks to most folks if they didn't all come up and ask me what breed he is every day!!

The tall one of him sitting up got "explored" on flickr - which basically means chosen as one of flickr's favourites for the day - quite cool! (flickr is a photo hosting / sharing site, with thousands of photos uploaded each day)

Today Breeze morphed into a kangaroo







even the people with Ibizan hounds are calling his ears huge now, too!

I think it's very interesting to see them side by side. Is he much bigger than Scout by now??

He has slowed down (thank goodness or we'd have a giraffe rather than just a kanga before long) but he is a bunch bigger than her.



needless to say if we went round a corner in a pet shop and met Ari we wouldn't be COMPLETELY dwarfed, only a little

Not for long! He may well end up being taller than Ari...
AKC IH standard calls for up to 27.5"/ 50 lbs, and RR for only 27" (although 85 lbs).
Ari is larger at 29-30" / 96 lbs, but who's to say that Breeze will read, agree with, and honor any standards? He may still morph into a giraffe...

BT- my camera is the very bottom end of the fancy camera market - a Nikon D40 - but it's perfectly adequate for me! What really makes a difference is the lens you use with it - I bought a new one - Nikkor 35mm AF-S - just after I got my puppy, and have been really pleased with the results

Both your dogs are gorgeous Minkee!

For some reason, pictures of Scout alone always give me the impression that she's a bigger dog, then I see her next to Breeze and surprise! she's smaller than I imagined. Anyway, gorgeous dogs and that last picture of Breeze could be a postcard for the breed - lovely!!
