Define "well behaved" lol. Bendog could come, I think the others are ruled out!
Jesus, that price though

It's stunning! Lucky you. I think if it was mine I would live there!

Ted is ace, my lot would be specks in the distance on that beach

Only around twice what we normally pay, but it's beautiful - you've made it really special!

'One small, well behaved dog....' Hmmmm, we might just not quite qualify....(and judging from this evening's entertainment, those bean bags would be in for a 'good time' if Jasper stayed  )
It's more than we usually pay but we never usually even glimpse the sea! The bean bags are wipe clean

Yeah I am going to have to be dragged out by my hair before the first booking  Sadly the job that pays for it (although hopefully it will pay for itself) is in London

Ted never goes far, I think because I had him on a long line for months and have just never allowed it (including having to run faster than him to get in front of him, which with enough adrenaline I can just about do, or could when he was smaller  ). If it weren't for other dogs he could go further because his recall is good and he doesn't scavenge but he's just too tiny to be around other dogs with me too far away (unless it's a chi obviously  ).

Odin shrunk Pippin!

Here's a little something to prove Chi's don't implode if they go out in the snow without a coat on http://youtu.be/bvqujH4tLYY

Clare, if video evidence is anything to go by, you spend most of your life giggling at Ted's antics. I love it :D

Sooooo, I thought I'd dig this thread up!

Little just over 10 week old Ella joined us on Boxing Day, she's Ted's half sister (same mum) and this is Clover's last litter so it was now or never if we wanted to take advantage of the fact that Clover seems to produce lovely bubbly personality dogs.

Ted has mixed feelings, he's not overly keen on sharing us with her but is happy for her to take everything else (she's a bully stick, tripe stick hoarder). He is however a fan of playing with her and they've already had a few very cute growly playing sessions with Ted rolling around on his back and her jumping around him. Once he's had enough or if he's not interested he just puts her in an "arm" lock.

She thinks that Ted is the coolest thing ever and wants to do anything he is doing. I've mostly been carrying her but she's had a few goes on the beach here in Cornwall and back in London in a quiet field (Amy knows which one :D ).

For his part he's been really good with her, I've been surprised actually as he just seems to know what to do with puppies :D He does come to be rescued when he's had enough though

She loves her food and went face down into her raw chicken breast like her life depended on it when we got her home, I'm looking at her big fat puppy tummy now :D

Anyway, photos to follow but here she is on her very first walk. She's scratching like crazy as she's not used to the harness yet

I think she is bigger than Ted was at her age, she certainly likes her food :D

Anyway, for any of you fighting the urge to get a second dog I recommend you DO NOT watch http://youtu.be/hBO3jEDekqA

Instead let me regale you with tales of sleepless nights, frequent feeding, constant observation

Clare,

Congratulations on Ella! :D :D

The vidoes are cute especially the one in the field.

Ted does seem to be taking the role of big brother nicely. How old is Ted, now?

Diane, Ted is just over 2 and a half years old. I don't think he totally became the dog he is now until he was 2, even though they say toy breeds mature faster I'm pretty sure in his case he was still developing both physically (filling out  ) and mentally right up until two years of age :D

I love the game of chase

What are you planning to do about preventing yet more puppies turning up in due course? Will you keep them separate and put up with Ted being lovelorn and serenading Ella night and day, or get one neutered? Or is it a case of wait & see? (I'm assuming that you're not planning on breeding as presumably half-siblings are too closely related to be bred from.)
