Ok - the rules are.
1 picture per member.
We are judging the photo against the theme, so if the theme was 'Christmas' and you posted a picture of your dog eating icecream on the beach, thats not likely to win. However if your dog was weeing up a Snowman whilst wearing a santa hat.. you are in with a chance!
This means that we are NOT judging the popularity of the member or their dog, nor are we judging the quality of the photo (though obviously, the better you can get it the better you can meet that months theme really, it is hard to judge a really bad pic!), so if you can just manage to get something in frame and not massively blurry, thats fine!
You have until Sunday 25th to post your picture to THIS thread. Then I will open up a poll thread to vote on. Just post your picture (using a host such as photobucket, and the [ img ] tags ) directly to this thread, not links.
Then you will have a week to vote (or a fortnight, i cant decide which makes more sense), and the grand prize is........ the winner chooses next months Theme!
So...... the theme for September is....
'Laughter'.
Go go go.

Re: Monthly Photo Comp (trial!)
I don't have any pics that make me outright laugh, but this one always makes me smile, which is close.
Odin loves to climb on stuff, but brave little Pippen in the background really doesn't. He just wants to do what the big boys do. Aw bless..
Edit : And yes, he did climb up there himself.

This one makes me laugh every time I see it. It's one of the few pictures I have that actually captures some of Ruperts silliness as he tends to see the camera and sit and look at it I just wish it had sound because some of the noises he makes while playing like this are hilarious.

This photo of Jasper makes me laugh. Who needs a bucket and spade when you can shovel up sand with your muzzle?

This picture really makes me laugh! It's like Karma is thinking "Just my luck: I have the remote control and everything else I need to watch television, including my master's favorite couch, but nothing is on television that I want to watch! Oh boy!

I just love their expressions in this one...
"I didn't do it! Nope! Not me!"
"But I SAW you, you sneaky little -"

OMG, LMAO! That's just too awesome.
If an opportunity comes to you in life, say yes first, even if you don't know how to do it.
