Chinese Crested
Last weekend we adopted a 5-year old chinese crested from a shelter..she was removed from a bad situation and when she was ready for adoption we brought her home. This is our first chinese crested. I have seen conflicting information about whether or not to put sunscreen on them. I have a shirt for her, but it doesn't cover her entire body, legs or face. Does anyone know if we should put sunscreen on? If so, what kind? I have seen one available for dogs at Petsmart which got a poor review and other websites suggest to use baby, unscented types such as Coppertone Waterbabies. She's going to the groomer next week to fix up the hair she does have (I call it spa day). Perhaps he can tell me, too. Thank you!!
Re: Chinese Crested
Sorry this was missed - where is it that you live? I think the conflicting advice will probably depend on the amount of sun that person gets! If it's really hot and sunny where you are then I would think suncream would be appropriate. An unscented baby cream would be best
