Dremmel RPM's?

I would like to start using a dremmel to file my shepherd's nails (currently using the pedipaw). What I don't know is what is the minimum and maximum amount of rpm's a dremmel should have while using it for this purpose. Thanks for any suggestions!!

Errrrrrr.. not a clue but i use mine on the lowest speed, and be wary of things getting hot too... (ie the dogs claw! ouch)

Just curious.. is the pedi-paws not working very well?

It works ok. But it took me an hour just to work on his front nails.
