Some sad news re the Red and Jasper episode

You may or may not remember the third dog in Red and Jasper's episode - Oscar the staffy cross. He was the best behaved of the trio so didn't get much TV coverage. Unfortunately just a week before his 14th birthday he was taken to the vet's and didn't return. He was a medium sized dog with a huge personality and will be dearly missed by lots of people. RIP Oscar dog x

I am in the UK so haven't seen the program but do know what it is like to loose a dog, I am so sorry for your loss. There is something special with Staffies and their crosses, I would be lost without my Staffy.

Thankyou all. Our episode was recorded early 2006 so 4 and a half years ago now, but I know it has been repeated a lot.
I agree about there being something special about staffies. He had the best personality ever.
