One constant that I see over and over again, is that the owner's fall in love with a puppy/dog and have no idea about training. Then they are flummoxed when the dogs "act up". I remember one man actually said "I thought he would just know what he was supposed to do." Well DUH

This is why so many dogs are abandoned or brought to shelters; they don't measure up to expectations.

My beloved Banjo, rescued at 6 months in 1997 has a recurrence of the Lymphoma that she was treated for last year . We don't know how much time she has left, but we have been blessed by having her for so long.
