I have a golden retriever 4 month old puppy who is a PUPPY but most days super well behaved. I do have a bottle of the dog flavored bubbles and this is one of his favorite games! I blow and he chases!!!! What a great way to tire him out!
I saw on one of her shows where there was a machine to do the work for me!
Now I am all for bonding with my dogs and blowing the bubbles and all that jazz BUT it would be great to get this little machine to entertain my active pup while I am busy doing housework or helping my kids' with their homework!
My question is WHERE can I buy this nifty little toy and are they dog/ puppy proof? I have seen the ones for kids in toy stores but with all of those small plastic parts I see a trip to the vet for a blockage if my pup decides to chew it.
Anyone have any experience with a doggie version of the bubble machine? Where do I get one and are they chew safe?
question about the bubble machine I saw victoria use!

I used the nifty search tool on this forum to search "bubbles" and found the following threads, all of which answer the question of where to purchase one:

thank you so much Noobs for those links and yes I did visit them before posting. I did not see my questioned answered on those links however so wanted to ask about safety. I know the ones they sell at kids' toy store are not made well enough if my golden pup got a hold of it.
I was wondering about the one victoria had on the ground in her show. Is that particular model SAFE for dogs and made well enough so as not to fall apart should it get into my puppy's reach?
I LOVE the idea and know he would love it too. I am concerned about safety and what product brand would be safe for a puppy.

I thought of that BUT...Noobs wrote:Why don't you put it somewhere high where the pups can't get to it? The bubbles will still fall down to their level, won't they?
well.. I am cursed with always recuing genius dogs. My mom has a knack for finding "Forest Gump" dumb as nails but wonderfully sweet dogs.
(all said tongue in cheek...)
I always have to think 5 steps ahead of my genius dogs
IF I place the bubble machine on a table/ chair or other higher location this will encourage him to jump on said table/ chair or higher location. As this is a problem I do not want to have to break later I don't want to encourage him to jump up on a table for his bubbles. The bubbles are a huge tease and HE LOVES them and I could see this EASILY happening!
House rules are "Its never okay to jump up on a table/ chair or other resting spot to get what you want" Teasing him with the flying bubbles and the fun noise the machine makes would only confuse this rule for him while being a puppy and still learning the house rules.
I WANT to do the bubble machine, I know he would love it and it would keep him busy and out of trouble when I am doing other things around the house. I went through the blockage.. surgically removing a mysterious item with my lab when she was a pup. I am extremely careful what my pup can get a hold of.
