show with multihousehold of chihuahuas

I have recorded this show of about chihuahuas, bulldog and bulldog puppy. I believe they woman just bought a new house,and left her chihuahuas with her parents. She didn't a urine soaked house, but left her parents to have their urined soaked house from all they chihuahuas.
That episode is like they canine bible.

My question was when one of they dogs started growling and snapping at eachother on they couch, and Victoria said to stand up and walk away whe n this happened, but what happens if one dog behaves, and other is growling and lunging do you just get up, and walk away till they out of control dog calms down, but how do you praise calm dog praise for be calm while out of control dog is out of control.?

Another technique that might work is that you remove the dog that is being aggressive from the room, and leave it alone for a while then bring him/her back out once he/she has calmed down. If he/she continues then keep removing the dog and then bringing him/her back once he/she has calmed down.
