Where is Mattie??
Where is Mattie laltely? Noticed she has not posted lately and wondered if she is OK, hope all is well for her.

Mattie is training a rescue dog by the name of Bertie from another rescue shelter not too far away. Apparently, Bertie had been abused and Mattie has been working on his fears and biting. So far, Bertie is doing very well, but there are some things Mattie is still working on. He's a beautiful dog and he learns fast!

What an exciting activity to fill up the days! Bertie couldn't be in better hands,

Bertie is definitely in good hands with Mattie! Through her hard work with him, he's doing very well, most of his fears/anxiety have been conquered, however, Mattie is working more on those as well. She's even trained him some other tricks as well! Another thing, he is getting on very well with her other dogs, which at first, he didn't. Now all of them are best of friends.
Another thing Mattie has been doing is renovating her living room. She just finished painting yesterday, but she has some cleaning up, moving things around, before she can finish the rest of it -all of it in time for her & any of her quests to enjoy before Christmas!
And no, she hasn't trained Bertie to paint her walls!

Another update from Mattie: She found a forever home for Bertie! However, the people who are adopting Bertie know that Mattie is still doing work (training) with him, and when the training, health checks, and grooming are finished, Bertie will be going to his new home, which happens to be one of Mattie's neighbors. So, Mattie will be able to see him more when he goes to his new home!
