Seff is doing really well Bea, and congratulations on not smoking for 4 days, just take one day or even one hour at a time and you will get there.

I thought you were putting the photos up

Congratulations to you Bea! Four days quit is wonderful! I have been quit smoking going on 5 years. I had tried half-heartedly to quit several times before, but for some reason that last time I just decided that was that and I was done with smoking and quit for good without gum or patches or pills. At first, it was like losing my best friend, but it's gotten easier over the years. I never smoked at home as my husband (then boyfriend) didn't approve, but I smoked like a freight train in my car, out with friends, and during my planning period at work. I missed it horribly for a long time. Even now I occasionally get a whiff of a menthol and thing "mmmm" but then I'll be at school and catch a whiff of one of my student's whose parents smoke and think "uhhhhh" and remember that smell used to be me.

congratulations on being smoke free for 4 days. It is my understanding smoking is one of the hardest addictions to kick, so be proud of everyday your not smoking.
