Thats odd, have you definitely ticked the box to keep you logged in?

What seems to be the issue with the avatar, is it too big??

Does your browser support cookies?

Also, that same thing happened to me the first few days after the board launched. Log all the way out - don't reply or anything, just log out. Go to the login page. Log in and click the box that says to keep you logged in. See if that works.

The thing most people do not realize is that you are not truly and 100% viewing a web site on the server. much of the web site is downloaded to your PC and stored in the browsers temp internet files cache and then you view the web site or most of it from your own PC. Some things do never download and stay on the server.

Anytime you run into issues with a website the first thing to try is clear all cookies and temp internet files on your PC. this lets you start fresh as if you have never visited the site before.

might be something wrong with your pic for your avatar. try building it new. or if it's a picture, try making a fresh copy from the original that is correct for using as an avatar.

I had to save mine as a .gif since it's a smaller type file than .jpg. As you can see it's pixelated but it's really not bad. Try saving as .gif. I don't know how photo-program-savvy you are, so I hope that helps.

I would suggest you try uploading the image directly from your machine instead.
