Question about my my dog??

Hi again,
I have a female dog and a male dog. My female dog just had puppies they're about 1 week old. Is it wrong to still take her out on walks along with my other dog or do i just leave her alone with the pups?

If she wants to come out on short walks, that's okay, but keep her away from other dogs because you do not want infections carried back to the puppies.

All of my bitches have wanted to go out from about two days after giving birth, but ten to fifteen minutes is enough at first - just long enough to refresh their minds and empty out their bodies, and then they want to be back with the babes.

As the weeks go on and the puppies wean, the ***** spends less time with them and will want to go on longer walks. Beware of other dogs approaching because bitches can be very antsy at this time, and don't let strangers pet her for the same reaspn.

All dogs are different at this time, so give her what she wants to do.

She will let you know when it's time. You need to be careful that if she is under stress that her milk can dry up. So let her tell you when it is time.
