Dog Sick flowchart

Post by thistledown »

My dog has asked me to post these helpful guidelines just in case your dogs are struggling to find suitable sicking-up places.

When choosing a place and time to throw up her dinner a dog should follow this flowchart.

Tiles or Carpet?> Carpet
Fitted carpet or removable mats? > Fitted
Plain or Patterned? > Plain
Expensive or Cheap? > Expensive
At the Edge or in the Middle? > Middle
Daytime when people are around or Nighttime when it will not be noticed for 8hrs? > Nighttime

Further guidelines:

the mound of sick will be of suitable consistency to soak thoroughly into the carpet and as far as possible it will be a different colour to the carpet. Some of the sick may be eaten again if sufficiently tasty, but most should be left where it is. The dog should deny all knowledge when questioned, but paper tissues used to mop up may be used for further creative play (they will be in the pedal bin).

*sigh*

ROFL!

I suppose you used the barefoot method of detection?

ugh! the foot-sick-piddle detector!

:?

in the summer we let Molly have icecubes that have hit the floor in the kitchen, USUALLY she eats them, sometimes she gets distracted and leaves them.
at three AM when shuffling though the house and you step in a puddle you groan until you remember, that your dog hasn't wizzed in the house in 3 years...

she gives me the most shocked/ disgusted looks when she knows I was thinking of blaming her for those puddles.

no, we didn't use the barefoot detection method this time thankfully!

My dog would also like to advise your doggies on this point:

the barefoot detection method may result in mum jumping and squealing. She is NOT inviting you to play wild chase-me games, especially if the detection has taken place in the middle of the night en route from the bedroom to the bathroom.
