I don't remember it was such a long time ago. My friend actually works with reptiles, amphibians, and particulary fish. He helped me give them the proper care.

Thanks though. The frogs were less then a inch long I do remember that. I will try to google that name and see if it strikes a familiar face.

And this site has alot of photos. This site actually makes me think my little guys were this breed.

standard dwarf african frogs.

you can buy them at most all pet stores that sell fish. they're good tank companions for almost everything so long as you get them their own sinking food.
They get along with Bettas pretty well, I don't recommend them for Oscars however lol

We had 4 in a tank together. They actually were really relaxing though to watch. I like them better then the goldfish. Goldfish and me just seem to not work out. They were actually easy for me to take care of but everyone says they are very hard to keep. :?

I like the big fat gold fish... I just get heart broken when they die

I had a big 10gal tank once with 5 porky goldies in it, fantails and such. I gave away the whole set up when I moved one of the millions of times. so I'm just waiting for a bigger house to upgrade tanks again.

We have a cat and a ferret besides our dog Abby. All three pets get along great and have free reign of the apartment.

Depends how you keep them. I have six in a court in the garden (like a big aviary, divided into two sides). Mine are working ferrets so I like to keep them outside, as they have to be used to fresh air and a lower temperature.

They are NOT the nicest creatures to clean out  (but then I wouldn't fancy emptying cat trays either) but other than that, once hand-tame they are pretty low maintenance IMO.

Unlike dogs, you are better to have two together, as they play with each other when you are not around, and it isn't as if you would be training them to the degree a dog needs training.

I have 4 goats, 3 horses, 4 cats, 2 dogs, and a betta named Mr.Fishy. The goat's names are Taran, Momma, Captain, and Morgan. The horse's are Shasta, Cinders, and Sugarfoot. The cat's are Mouse(how ironic is that?), Ziny, Jeni, and Mr.Izzy. My dog's names are Dodger and Kobuck. I love them all so much! :!:

Nice betta!! Mine is black and blue, but if the sun hits him just right the edge of his fins turn green. I got really creative with his name, it's Mr.Fishy. 8)
