Clouds and Silver Linings

Post by Nettle »

An unexpected benefit from coronavirus is that the people who normally let their dogs charge at me and mine are now keeping their distance.

I feel the opposite :D
Both I and Baby Miles love when humans and dogs come over, even if they gallop over like mad rhinos.
Now everyone keeps their distance... no one says hello to the giant puppy, despite all his attempts to call attention by laying down and looking very cute, as others pass us by 6 ft away :(

Many still let their dogs charge up to Jasper though, and I have to keep him on lead in the park to stop him charging up to treat fairies

Not that we've got that far in the last couple of days - OH is working from home and Jasper doesn't like going out and leaving one of us behind. Yesterday afternoon he refused to go further than the end of the road with OH, so OH brought him back, went for a walk on his own (he needs a good walk to stop his back seizing up) and then Jasper howled because he'd left him behind
