Scaremonging isn't going to help the dogs, scaremonging has already done a lot of damage to various breeds of dogs in the UK.
WHAT???????????

Scaremongering?????? FOR CRIST SAKES DO YOU NOT REALIZE WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON BETWEEN THE DAMNED KENNEL CLUB AND BREEDERS JUST FOR MONEY, STATUS AND POWER, ARE YOU BLIND????????

Your terrible, terrible comment is diminishing and dismissing the sufferings of dogs delberatly bred as genetic freak mutants. Have some thoughts amd feelings for those poor poor little dogs and their owners for heavens sakes, ALL because some people wanted money, power and in their warped, aberated circles prestigue

LOOK AT IT ALL

I have looked at it all, yes there are people who are abusing their dogs in all walks of life not just breeders, there is also good breeders who are trying to improve their breeds and woring hard to change others minds. They will be a lot more successful that people that are scaremonging.

It is scarmonging that has got all the rescues with loads of Staffies they can't find homes for, Rotties are seen as being dangerous dogs just like Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers and Pit Bulls. It is scarmonging that brought us the DDA, the worst piece of legislation that we have.

Attacking people doesn't get them to change their minds or ideas, that puts their backs up and makes them even more determined to carry on the way they were doing. It is scarmonging that is allowing the abuse to carry on, not those that are working towards change from inside.

Nothing changes over night unless a bomb is dropped, that wipes out cities and even countries these days.

Hi :D , just to let you know the new member called 'KC Health Concerns' and 'Millenium' is a well known UK Troll called Denis and he has been banned from every dog site in the UK. He uses many names and multiple personalities.

He hates the KC because they tried to ban the sale if e collars which he sells.

The subject of Pedigree Dogs Exposed has been widely discussed on the UK Sites and not suppressed as Denis states, it is Denis who has been suppressed .

I notice Denis has been rude to a number of members on here, his usual style if you ignore him he will go away.. :)

Ah... yet another potentially useful debate ruined by Denis.

If you're not in the UK, or if you just haven't seen it yet, you can watch the show in several segments posted on YouTube.

Segment one is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1LyjlX4 ... re=related

I was telphone by my brother in Germany about this BBC youtube Thursday.
In Germany this was such big shock all to every zuchter in germany and much talking now that no dogs be allowed to England come to new owner.
This is for breaking hearts, in Germany I think also everywhere in Europe no funktions dog is permitted not never never to be permitted to have puppy untill all tests are completed with succes, if the dog do not pass then must not, cannot have, throws, all kennel verein of every race of funktions dogs in Germany make tests for every dog born, and since before I was born.

But I saw on the youtube your police dog chase was so fun, one videos make me cry and another make laughter

There’s to be a sequel follow up if BBC signs the papers, the facts are all registrations by KC or all breeds should already have been immediately suspended until all dogs which breeders wanted to breed from and which are registered with KC were health tested and then fit for breeding licenses issued to those which met the required health standards If the breeders refused then all future registrations should have been suspended until they did pass their dogs relevant tests.
If health comes first that was the immediate answer it was done by all European working breeds decades ago, only the KC UK never bothered in the whole of Europe.
If money comes first that will not yet have happened, hundreds of thousands of bitches could have conceived since that program, because of the pain and suffering experienced by KC 'no breeding rules apply' bred dogs there is no other answer.

Many breeders already do all the health tests on their dogs before breeding them, these breeders are improving their breeds already.
