Amy, if anyone could get my two like that I'd know they were the dog-sitter for me! Perfect. Anyone can get them riled up, and Scout will actively train people to continually play, play, play with her. Now getting her to relax is a whole other story - I don't think anyone who's looked after her for us has ever managed it. She always sleeps for a week when we get her back because it's been NON-STOP the whole time, and no one thinks to just disengage and let her sleep!
Good work

Along similar lines, I "liked" this page as I saw a photo that Dogs Today magazine posted. There's no doubt this guy is a talented photographer, however I wonder if he knows that some of the great shots he's getting are of very uncomfortable dogs? https://www.facebook.com/pages/Paul-Cro ... fref=photo

Re: How can people be so blind?
I watched a very famous dog photographer do a workshop, live, and it was so full of 'be careful of a dog that does this because it means they're trying to be dominant' and 'dominant dogs like this need this' and so on that now I can't even look at her photos without feeling a bit funny in the stomach, thinking about how the dog must feel.
