My mum used to She said she liked the health and dietary advice because if you waited long enough, whatever you did would be pronounced as healthy (And when, the following week, it became a cancer risk, she could choose to ignore it because she read it in the Daily Mail )bendog wrote:(Also, since everyone I've ever met seems agreed that daily fail is usually awful who the hell buys it!)

Well, I have no preconceived thoughts on the Daily Wail since I've never heard of it before. But this piece was certainly well done. Congratulations to both Rosie and Horus!! That was a great piece and I loved the video too. I'm in awe of all you've accomplished together.

Nice article Way to go Horusmum!
Grammy to Sky and Sirius, who came to live with me, stole my heart, and changed my life forever as I took over their care and learned how to be a dog owner.

Thanks Em for sharing this, I'm on holiday at the moment with limited internet so haven't shared it a lot!! His name is in fact Horus, his age is wrong and I have had for 5 years not 3, but other than that it actually isn't too inaccurate. I am really chuffed with the video, the photographer was super and very respectful. It is really exciting, but the main aim was to advertise the deaf dog network. I have also accepted an offer to do a piece for the magazine Real People which will be happening in the coming months. But 4 national newspapers is not a bad start!!

I was so sure that the paper would have spelled the name wrong... not you! "Horace's Mum"
Really pleased for both of you & the DDN!

Re: Have you all seen who is in the paper?
Ah, well when I first joined I had only had him a couple of weeks, and he was indeed Horace then, because the rescue renamed him due to no-one pronouncing his name right. I changed it back after 4 weeks but haven't been able to change it on here!! There is good reason, Horus has much more meaning for him than Horace, and I recently discovered it is part of his heritage, the whole litter were named after egyptian gods as they were so unusual from the start - I always thought he must have had really weird owners before I got him!! Thank god I didn't get Tutankamun!!
