Worlds Fattest Pets and me

Just finished watching the tv program worlds fattest pets and me and I feel completely sickened and outraged by what I've just seen.

In one part they showed you a competition being held at a dog show in somewhere in America, where owners were competing against each other to see how had the fattest dog.

There was also a owner who felt his dog wasn't as fat as the RSPCA had said he was and that the television people had obviously done something to the film to make the dog look fatter.

And it makes me cross when people who have allowed their pets, no, MADE their pets obese, get praise for slimming them down. It's high time conscientious owners who keep their animals fit and healthy were given due recognition for it.

If people don't feed their dogs it is classed as cruel and they are prosecuted but if they overfeed them, they get nothing, it is time that overfeeding an animal is given the same as not feeding one, both are cruel.

I agree with mattie i cant understand why you would want to make your dog fat!

I watched it on channel 4 and how that man said something like "he's not fat "about the chocolate lab i could not understand

what was he then underweight? I cant understand why they would let there dog to be as fat as that it could hardly walk!
