 100 FT lead would be too much for me. Most of our 'walks' is trailing deer through the woods, we'd be far too tangled! :D

I was telling Karma about this (and no, I'm not crazy, not yet anyway! ) and she looks at me with those blaring eyes that say "No one's getting my balls or my squeakies!"

Those squeaky toys would last two days with Ben, if that! He can get a squeak out of a toy in about 30 seconds flat.
It would be the greatest two days of his life, but then all 100 toys would be in pieces on the floor with no squeaks left, and poor Karma would have none left.

The balls wouldn't last long with us either!

In fact, the poor neglected doggies don't have much "stuff"

A water bowl, 3 leads (all only 5 or 6 ft).
A toy basket which contains: a Kong each, a Twist and Treat, a set of Linkables, their "sausages" tug toy Image(although none of the sausages have noses left), a couple of nylabones which are mostly ignored, a Stagbar antler each, Squeaky skunk (which has no squeak left), a fluffy slipper, a pair of socks, and a tough dumbell thing with a bell in which I bought because my Nan has one that Ben loves to play with at her house, but he doesn't use the one at home!

We can go through about 4 or 5 tennis balls a week so I stock up on those regularly but they are banned from inside.
We also buy teddies from charity shops as often as we can, which last until Ben chews the ears off.

Theres a bed for Sash, and a beanbag, but mostly they sleep on our bed or the sofa.

I thought we didn't have much - then I started counting

Four water bowls
One food bowl each plus a spare
One towelling coat each (for drying off cold wet dogs)
One mackintosh each
One warm quilted coat each
Four massive antlers
One toy fox
One toy squirrel
Numerous toy rabbits that live upstairs (for the upstairs-sleeping dog who never harms her toys)
Toy rhinocerous, crocodile and teddies for the same dog
Five dog beds, one mattress, sofa and armchair (last two shared with us)
Countless leads as Mr. Nettle hides them in his car and coat pockets
One collar each
Two magnetic collars
Gundog dummies (two) tennis balls (many) ball on a rope (one) Tuggy rope (two) Kongs (six)
One in-car secure dog box
One car (bought to fit the dog box)
One brood kennel and run
Medicine cabinet full of dog-friendly meds
First-Aid kit as above

and for their hobbies:

One five hundred candlepower lamp and battery
Three hundred purse nets
Two fifty-yard longnets
Three ferrets (may become five this year) with six locator collars and two receiver boxes
Four game bags
Three slip leads

Goodness.....I'm really sorry I listed that lot now

I'm not listing anything. I haven't the time right now. But between dogs, cats, and birds, and
their bits and bobs, my friends insist I live in an animal habitat with a bedroom and office attached.
Honestly, I think they are overreacting. Just because they cannot see that a 500 Vari-Kennel makes
a perfectly fine end table and that there is plenty of room for the 4x6x6 chain link dog runs in the
living room, and that there is plenty of room to see out the windows around the cat trees....

To fill up the house I do get 21 empty tins of dog food each and every week. Something is wrong in the world when 2 dogs create more waste than I do.

I wish you could buy dog food sausages with edible skins and no metal.
