I agree Nettle. Things happen for a reason and the right dog is out there for us somewhere. I had 2 private adoptions fall through at the last minute before finding Rupert. Neither of those came home with me though, this one seems far, far worse. I only hope Luisa finds a good home quickly. Whatever their reasons they're not going to let us have her, they've made that very clear.

Oh, and the shelter definitely knew we were military, they asked how long the posting here was, what rank my hubby was and a few other questions so it came as no shock on the home check.
