Tv prog to watch tonight

Just heard that Death Row Dogs airs for the first time tonight on Virgin 1 at 9pm. (Channel 121 on Sky - just after all the extra ITV channels)

The Two Poodle Martyr case is featured together with lots of other dog owners caught up in the legal system.

My previous blog has a link for the petition to stop that sick artist from starving another dog - but expect that's already been covered here...

God Almighty, what is the world coming to ... to use another living animal and do that in the name of "art" - the picures are beyond belief and I really don't know what else I can say...(I could say more but think Emm may tell me off).

Is the programme to be aired on Terresital channels Beverley?

I suspect it may get a re-run somewhere else in time. It's a well-known TV production company that was making new content for the newly launched Virgin 1 channel but if it gets a repeat elsewhere I'll let you know.

What I can't fathom is all the people who saw it and did nothing about it

Here there would be two extra works of art - "well-fed dog" and "chained-up artist".

Well I tuned in last night. Shocking stuff, don't know where to start really.

Ok the poodles. Wow the weight of evidence is overwhelming - NOT. So two dogs escape, sheep killed ergo MUST have been the poodles. Hmmm. Not convinced. Obviously it could have been and we will probably never know, but to destroy these dogs on a mere coincidence is crazy. As for the identification bit, I'm sorry but is that meant to be taken seriously? Someone saw a black dog, at night, in a field. This is presumably the first time said person saw said dog, I repeat at night. Said person then goes and identifies one of the poodles as that EXACT SAME DOG. Hmmm again, mighty impressive eye sight / photographic memory there. Maybe I am just a bit retarded but to me a black standard poodle is a black standard poodle and unless I know that particular poodle, I would have a very hard time identifying on from another. Besides which the description was 'black dog' not two black standard poodles answering to the names of Minky and Jenny.

Henrik the 'pit bull type'. OK firstly for the love of god will someone explain to me what the hell is a 'pit bull type'. Its like describing me as a 'scandinavian type' (wishful thinking), as I am blonde with blue eyes and have pale skin. Am I scandinavian? No I am of Irish Hertiage, mixed with lord knows what on my fathers side - lunatic I am guessing - I digress. I am therefore in some ways a skandinavian type but not in fact scandinavian. The only thing I would say on this dog (nitt picking now) is I don't agree with the comment 'dogs fight don't they'. Well no not all of them and if you think your dog is likely to attack someone elses keep it on a lead. Still Henrik wasn't destroyed for this so its by the by.

Finally Hooch and Roxy. Oh that broke my heart. That poor poor lady. Those dogs had done nothing wrong other than look a certain way. The bit that really got my hackles up is when the judge just adjorned for another three months, wasting everybodies time and of course condemning those poor dogs to three more months of misery.

Sigh I could go on but this post is already of epic proportions. Shocked, saddened, aghast, wondering what the hell is wrong with this country.
