Must have been AWESOME! :)

That field makes me miss Ireland. I wasn't there long enough.

Great pictures. I got a good laugh at the "treat time" picture. 3 dogs and a boy, did they all get the same treats?

This sounds a little embarrassing, but I have to ask: What is a "jammy dodger" in the UK? :?:

Bwahahaha - Jammy Dodgers. Mmmmmmmm!

Biscuit, as per the pic - the red stuff in the middle that sandwiches the two parts together is a fairly chewy jam (jelly!). Lovely with a cup of tea!

Ooooh! Thanks for the pic, very helpful. We here in the U.S. just call those "sandwich cookies," which can be filled with pretty much anything, from jam to frosting or peanut butter, fruit preserves, etc. (Oreos are a type of "sandwich cookie.")

Okay, thanks for telling me that BCMumto3, because I was picturing something like that in my head when I read your post, however, I wanted to make sure! Yes, we call those "sandwhich cookies", but whatever you call them, they're still good, so I don't blame Jamie for calling them "Jamie Dodgers" because they're so good and you can't eat just one, either!   No wonder why he wouldn't want to share them with his sister! Kids say the darnest things!

Sorry to "hijack" your thread, BCMumto3, but I have to ask how many of you pull the cookie apart and eat the filling first?
