I have 2 staffies. They both have fine hair and sensitive skin - not sore skin, just sensitive.
Does anyone know of a company who sell really nice soft collars that wont rub away their fur?
The ones with the rubber backing dont work, I need something really gentle. Staffies are sensitive little flowers dont you know?

Emmabeth makes lovely leather collars and will make them to suit your dog, Ellie's leather harness that I put up in the first Rescue Remedies Auction was made by Emmabeth, it was perfect for Ellie and fitted really well so no rubbing. Her web site is http://www.canis-equus.co.uk

I can do lined collars (suede) that are padded - however the emaila ddy on my website is not working properly right now so if you like those, pm me on here!
I do love the doggames fleecey lined stuff, its really good quality and washes very well which is a consideration with a very fine skinned/fine furred dog - the dirt on the inside of a collar can be what is rubbing.

Really like the look of the fleecy ones. I reckon they would help. They look very comfy. Will measure their necks later and order as I think they are perfect.
I dont think that it is dirt that is rubbing, they just both have white chests and particularly my older dog has very fine fur - healthy and shiny but just very fine. The younger dog has a bit of an undercoat so isnt so bad, but the older one doesnt.
