Dylan's trip to the RVC today

Absolutely will keep you posted! He hasnt started the tablets yet and they take a while to work, but I am going to write a 'Dylan diary' so I can monitor how it affects his modd etc at the beginning. Jon Bowen said they may make him a bit 'flat' for the first few days but if he doesnt get back to normal after a week or so he will need to change to another drug.

2 minutes? Wow! But 10-15 seconds seems very impressive to me too. At the moment we can hold it for a good few seconds as long as there is nothing at all else going on that is more exciting to look at! Today we tried it out on a walk, and he was pretty good, but he found it really hard to look at me instead of looking to see what that squirrel sounding rustle was, or checking he wasnt missing anything elsewhere! But its very early days and he is a fast learner so its going to be a case of repetition, and practicing it a LOT in the house/garden where there are no other distractions!

You are going to quickly, don't expect him to hold it on a walk yet, he needs to be doing this at home were there are NO distractions 100%, you know how I can kick butt if you move too fast.

You are right Mattie....I came to this conclusion this morning actually, that i am expecting too much from him! Will be doing more in house and garden!

And yep indeedy....wanna stay away from the Mattie butt-kicking for sure!!!
