is that Ibizan for "you shouldn't have ticketed me off before entering the ring" or is it "I won, I won, I won"

We do it too. And it worked. Sandy had his physical today and lost 10 oz. :D :D

And for a deer chihuahua, that is a big difference. He went from 11 lbs, 14 oz. to 11 lbs. 4 oz. :D :D

Well done Diane and Mr. Diane! It's hard to get weight off very small dogs.

Erica,
The Zuke chicken treats that we use with Sandy for training, etc. are tiny round ones and 3 1/2 calories each. I have never seen flat ones, but we usually only look for the ones that are tiny.

As we told the vet yesterday, Sandy has a sensitive tummy, but the kibble made for that are too big for Sandy. I guess being a small dog, we can get away with halves, quarters, and smaller treats.

But, Sandy only eats one small meal of kibble less than the package states and mixed with less than 1/4 oz of cooked chicken or turkey breast around lunchtime when we eat our main meal.

I'm at work, and the content blocker on our "morale" internet system won't let me view YouTube. I'm looking forward to checking it out when I return home.

says a huge amount for that dog's temperament that it didn't redirect onto its handler's arm

Nettle, I had that very some thought when I watched the vid. There were a few times you could tell he was thinking about it. Its also a good example of how a high level of arousal can lead to a redirect and that if there had been a 'grab and shake' of the handlers arm, it's not an aggression issue........
