I am so pleased Jack is back home again, I am sure your son won't make that mistake again.

diarrhea has set in...again :( he just go over about a month of on again off again..... vet warned me this would happen though.

energy wise he is him self, drinking a bit more than is "normal" ...but I suspect that is combination it getting warmer and elevated blood sugar levels. but not so much more than "normal" that I am worried...yet.

the night at the vet was VERY stressful for him. he is completely on edge. barking and reacting to things he hasn't in quite sometime. walking around with his ears on alert and his tail a full mast..sure sign of him on edge. Rescue remedy in the water and lots of rest and careful walks to minimize contact with triggers until he settles back down and just watching him.

hopefully in a day or two he will be completely back to normal. but at the moment no indication he isn't well on the road to getting back to normal.

He will settle again, staying in the vets over night is stressful for the dogs unless you have a dog like Ellie who insists on the staff playing with her  For a dog like Jack it is a very traumatic experience but you will get your Jack back because you will do the right things for him. I have been sending Jack Reiki so hopefully he will recover quickly.

thank you very much. he was more him self this morning. residual stress levels are still up a bit, his "fuse" is still shorter than what is normal for him right now. but a few more days of rest and I am sure that will resolve it's self too.

He will soon be back to his normal self Jack's Dad, he is very lucky to have found someone who cares as much as you do about him, many owners wouldn't have taken him to the vets after eating the chocolate and he may have died.
