Is my dog being stubborn or could something be wrong?
I have a 4 year old jack Russel. No known medical issues at this time. She will be spayed on Jan. 7th. I've had her almost 2 weeks, adopted her from the shelter. From day one, she will drink water out of her water bowl. She knows where her food bowl is. She will eat out of it only when she is desper...

Re: Sleepy Jack Russell?
the shelter said she's never been in heat with them, and they don't know when her least heat was. She's slowly coming out of her shell.

Re: How do I hanlde my dog barking in this situation?
When he's not in his power chair, she's great with him. She sleeps on the foot of our bed on his side most the time. When he's in bed, she has no problem coming up to him for a treat. When the chair isn't moving and she's calmed down, she's fine with him.

How do I hanlde my dog barking in this situation?
I have a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I"ve had her about 2 weeks. Adopted her from a shelter. Only time she barks is when my husband is in his power chair. How do I handle it? He holds her and feeds her treats, but it only works for so long. Do we keep doing that? Is this a defense or aggre...

Re: Neuter issue?
I'm just asking what's up with neutering male dogs? I know plenty of men who have zero issue with it, but then I know of a few whose pride about getting their dogs fixed is a huge issue. I'm not rushing to judge anyone I just don't understand why some men take huge issue with it.

Neuter issue?
Why is it so many men have issues with getting their male dogs fixed? I've seen a few episodes where the male owner does not want his male dog to get fixed. The dog don't care either way. But why make such a huge issue out a small molehill? It's like the man's pride is blinding him to his dog's well...

Sleepy Jack Russell?
I have a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She can't get fixed for another month due to taking meds to clear up a yeast infection on her rear. I adopted her a week ago. She's only barked twice (because she got spooked really bad) She's not interested in toys, only nibbles at her food and is otherwise...

Jack Russell Terrior question??
I have a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier. She's an indoor dog, only goes out to go potty. Doesn't care for walks. How often should she get a flea dip and be bathed? What shampoo is good to use?

Couple questions about newly adopted dog-need some advice??
7 days ago I adopted a 4 year old Jack Russel Terrier. Today is her 6th full day home. She will pig out on doggie treats. She will beg with her big brown eyes for people food. Yet she will not eat her own food from her own bowl. Today we didn't feed her any treats at all. During our dinner, we left ...
