Remember when you brought your baby home how much more work it was than you thought, how much it all cost, how tired you were? Of course you don't :D but it was, and it's the same with the puppy. Only you can decide if you want that level of work again. Puppies are as much work as a toddler. Not rea...

You won't stop two bitches fighting once they have decided to slog it out for status, I'm afraid, and ***** fights can become very serious. From now on, you will have to keep them apart all the time you are not there to supervise, and when you are there you will have to be aware of any change in bod...

Whoops. This is a dangerous habit - and one that is easy to prevent, so owner should concentrate on preventing it. Sounds as if dog has bellyache - very common with puppies. Vegetable advice is good. I'd give plain bio yoghurt and honey every day to restore gut flora to proper balance, or you can ge...

It isn't a lot of exercise - maybe you could 'up' the mental stimulation as well (see the pinned thread). Walk for longer if you can. Does she get free running? Have you changed the food? Do you feed commercial food? Manufacturers change the ingredients depending on what's cheap at the time, or else...

Sure you can train him :D - you just can't take him out. You can do all your lead training in the house and yard, and your sit - wait - stay exercises, and your heel off lead - you can have a ball! What you can't do is socialise him with other dogs yet. That's a pity but not the end of the world. On...

Eating lichen = self-medicating. Have you any goosegrass (cleavers) or couch grass she can access? Would she eat an apple or a pear? Can you cook her some nettles (I'm very medicinal!)? Arnica would help with her aches and pains, and Rescue Remedy for the change of address. Can you throw small bits ...
