Re: dog afraid of everything
He seems to be afraid of your home. Maybe the old owners with the power tools has basically taught the dog that home=power tools, and since he was terribly afraid of them, he might have gotten used to the fact that if he's in a home, he's in danger of the tools. When's he's away from home, then he a...

I used gimp too, and I thought it was kind of confusing, but I LOVE THE POSTER :D :D :D I've always had plans to help stop puppy mills, but nothing came up. Maybe I could make a poster and put them around our neighborhood and have a fundraiser and raise money for puppy mils and animal shelters all o...

Re: Food Obsession!!!
Well she is a puppy, and she's still getting used to what her food is and what's not, but eating cat food is going WAY overboard. You should definitely keep the cat food away from her, as cats need much more protein than dogs and eating it will cause illnesses (or maybe it's the other way around, I ...

Re: What are Jack Russels really like?
My friend has a JRT and he's very hyper. His name is Jack  and every time you go to their house he comes RUNNING at you and jumps up and tries to get your attention. They have to walk him twice a day or else he'll literally go bouncing off the walls  They're full of energy and some bark ...

Re: What does it mean when they back away while barking?
Well maybe before he felt braver and bigger, but maybe the other dogs started barking back, telling him off, so now he's still barking, but he's trying to do it at a safe position.

Re: My Rescues
I just have the urge to get my neighbor's dog and give it braids and pigtails and everything even though it's a male dog and hates being groomed  I've always wondered what it's like to have a dog where you dress it up and paint it's nails and stuff, but I wouldn't think about painting its nails...

Re: What To Do?? I Need Advice ASAP!!
Our dog licked a bit of Neosporin by accident on his nose once when he had that nasty big bug bite, but he didn't die and it didn't affect him in any way, but I would still say it's safer if you didn't put any medicine on unless you can wrap it up or something to prevent her from licking it. Actuall...

Re: What To Do?? I Need Advice ASAP!!
It's a bit blurry, and tears are stinging my eyes. That looks pretty painful I would suggest going to the vet, but if you can't, then just wait a few days and see if it heals a bit.

Highlights?
Just a quick random question. I'm getting highlights with hair that's about 3-5 inches below my shoulder. When I sleep, I toss and turn a lot, so my bangs get all messed up and I can never find the same split I had the day before or when I first get my haircut. Won't the highlights get covered up if...

There are also those white birds with the yellow mohawk-like things on their heads... I think they're cockatoos or something, but they're li...

What about a lab? They're nice, smart, and require little grooming, though shed seasonally.
