He is perfect with people and small dogs, no threat to me or him, but with anything field spaniel size and upwards... well.. we suffer the same! I have learnt to be really firm, have taught h...

We've moved!

For all those who know us and are interested!! We finally beat the credit crunch and moved into our new home on December 1st. Kato is settling in well - not quite as velcro now, but he's ok, and I'm really chuffed at how well he has done - all without the Rock Rose and the DAP!! He loves the garden ...

Thanks chaps, maybe a sleepova for one night at Nan's may be the answer as Kenneling is a no go zone - he was in one for over 6 months and I don't want any "flash backs"! Still early days, but I'm forward planning to try and do the best I can. The bed idea is good when we stay over at frie...

Moving house

I know there is a thread on this site somewhere, but I can't find it! Sooo after over a year on the market we are in the process of selling/buying and I'm just wondering about how to make it easier for the ginger one. I remember about the smelly bed, (think it was Dober Princess) and the DAP, just a...

I'm with Ocelot and the Princess Doberpig! Me and my boy... well.. I get up first, at whatever time and I have to literally turf him out of bed, it doesn't matter what time it is. I know he's a lazy hound at the best of times.. I even have to drag for his morning walk!!
We are not morning animals!!

I also have a rescue boy and yes the kennels were a little "economical" with certain things. Over time I have learnt who to avoid and who is ok. Staffs and Jacks no probs - collies, larger furries no way. Cats - I was told he was ok with... forget it, rabbits (indoor variety) great! Time w...
