Re: Dropping and leaving!

Wow, so much stinky temptation and he managed to do great. :D Good for both of you! Why do dogs eat poop anyway? Does it mean anything like a diet deficiency or is just a dog thing?

Re: For Emma and any other reptile lover ~ahem~ amphibian too!

Not that it really matters, and I don't really mean to make anyone feel stupid, but.... frogs are actually amphibians, not reptiles. And they are also snake FOOD. Oh my gosh! I knew that.doh! Yeah, I realize they are snake food, we have those around too. We're always on the lookout when walk...

For Emma and any other reptile lovers

I came across these photos my son took of a tree frog that came to visit us a few nights ago. I love the first one especially which was taken from inside the house. The other two are from outside. I wish they were sharper, but they are cute nonetheless. Hello.. Anyone home?? http://i467.photobucket....

Re: Sulley

He is gorgous, fluffy and cuddly. I wouldn't worry about raising his feed bowls unless he wants to eat that way, when I got Merlin I raised his food bowls and he wasn't happy or comfortable, he prefered to eat his food off the floor. Merlin was a Greyhound and it is normal to feed them with r...

Re: Sulley's progress (and mine too!)

Just a little update on my puppy. He's almost 5 months now and no longer that ball of white fuzz. It looks like his ears might be taking after his sheperd mom now because at least one is trying to stand most of the time. Jury is still out on the other one. (I'll get some pics posted soon!) htt...

Re: Unimpressed

Hang in there Sarah! I'm going through similar issues myself. For some unknown reason most of the dog owners in this county let their dogs roam free all the time. Not just let them out to go potty and come back in either. They set them out in the morning and just let them go wherever. :x I live righ...

Re: Poor Itchy Puppy

I hope things continue to improve for you. We've seen quite a bit of improvement with our pup. He's been a little over a week on the new food and his stools became totally normal right away. His itching is slowly getting better every day and some eczema spots he had on his lower tummy are pretty muc...

Re: Squirrels!!!

In addition, Mr. Fundog is still recovering from a major spinal surgery, and is unable to walk the dogs, let alone work. On top of that, he is rather ill with a nasty cold and fever. Yesterday, while I was working all day, he sat outside with the girls for several hours-- two in back, and two in fr...

Re: Squirrels!!!

Yep, mine have discovered the great fascination with "hunting" squirrels as well. And we have to cover the windows too. For going out, since our yard is not fully fenced, we have two sets of 50 ft. lines, one pair in front, anchored to the front porch swing, and the other pair in the back...

Re: Just like cats and dogs...

I'm working on the same thing with my 4 month old puppy. Emma had reccomended a multi pronged approach in this thread: http://positively.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7860 He had developed a very bad habit of not only bouncing all around them with his play bows, but barking as well. It actually ...
