My husband was home with him. He was in his kennel more than he is used to but no more than 4 hours at a time. If my husband couldn't get home for lunch my mother came over to let the dog out. My husband is the one who usually walks him and feeds him anyway so that part of his routine wasn't too dif...

Changes in behavior

So I'm not quite sure where to start with this. For the past week or so my dog has been acting differently in a couple of ways. I was gone for a few days and that seemed to be when the problems started but that may have been a coincidence. To start with he's not eating as well as he normally does, h...

Yeah I'm a little annoyed. Maybe they get some kind of kick back from the company. However, I emailed them with my concerns and they offered a full refund so I can't be too mad. Won't be shopping there again though. Thanks for the input.

Verus

Hey everyone, For the past month or so we've been feeding my dog Taste of the Wild. However the nearest store that carries it is about 20 miles away. We needed more food and I was near a store I knew carried Innova so I decided we'd give that a try. However once I was there the store clerk talked me...

Worms?

I have a 1 year old mixed breed dog. This morning my husband was walking him and when he pooped my husband noticed little red worm like things in his stool. He said they didn't seem to be moving and he wasn't entirely sure if they were worms or red mucus. I didn't see them so I don't know. We called...

Thanks everyone :) Glad to hear it's not that he needs something that I'm not providing. My husband was home alone with him last night and when I came home the dog was in his lap at the computer while he played games lol He said Gabe settled right down when he got to snuggle so maybe he just wants t...

antsy at night

I have a one year old dog named Gabe we adopted a couple months ago. We have a pretty set routine most days. He gets a walk in the morning then he has breakfast, the days kinda vary but always with lots of naps and some outside play time, in the evenings he gets a longer walk and then his dinner. Fo...

So my dog Gabe is a puller. We've been using a gentle leader head collar which really seemed to help at first but it seems he's getting used to it because he's starting to pull again. I really hate for him to pull wearing the head collar because it makes a dent in his face that looks really uncomfor...

Gabe

This is Gabe. We adopted him from the local humane society at the end of January. No idea what kind he is, they said he was a Shar Pei. I can see it in the ears but nothing else. He's a very sweet little guy, really affectionate. He's fearful of other dogs but we're working on that and he's really s...

dog bags

Hey all, so now that it's heating up I'm looking for way to carry all my dog walking accessories. I usually just wear a jacket or sweatshirt with big pockets but that's not going to work soon. I usually have plastic bags, treats, keys, cell phone and pepper spray(my city has a crime issue). What are...

Yeah, I'm no expert but it sounds like from his perspective this man has brought with him a lot of unpleasant changes to Cash's life.

emmabeth, my boy Gabe loves people cuddles too. If I'm sitting on the couch he'll sit next to me and push his nose under my arm until it's around his shoulders. He also loves to lay on his back with his head on my shoulder. It's pretty freaking cute.

Interestingly enough last time she came over she had just gone into heat and her owner had not yet realized it. He'd only been fixed for a couple days so I think his interest was still pretty strong. Perhaps he was remembering that about her. He definitely kept trying to mount her later on.
