Thank God for receipts
I went to recheck the dog food Kibbles Select Complete or Kibbles Complete Select, whatever they call it, and do you know what I read on the package I saw? "Tastes Great!" Now, I'm not exactly a professional comedian, but who ate some of this dog food and said it "Tastes Great!" ...

Update on my dog
I'm sorry about your loss, Wendy, because I went through a very similar situation you did, which even today, even now as I write this message, I cry because it still is one of the hardest thing anyone will have to go through. A little over two years ago, I took my mother's dog, Chrissy, outside for ...

Try Kibbles Select Complete which is supposed to be all natural or another brand I'm trying to remember the name of I think is called "Science Diet" or a brand with those two words in it. If you can't find the latter in your local grocery store, ask your veterinarian. "Science Diet&qu...

You've got to love your new four-legged alarm clocks! As with any of my dogs that I've had, and now with Emma, I been missing my alarm clocks. However, with Emma, I'd find them under my other pillows! If I'm not up after the alarm goes off, Emma is on my belly! Nothing like waking up with a 60-70 po...

Thumbs up to you Fundog for keeping your dogs under control and those situations! I took my dog Emma for one of our walks, and it seems, everyone in my neighborhood was walking their dogs! Emma did her "little greetings" as usual, but an interesting thing happened. While on this walk, some...

Are Dogs Pack Animals?
I was speaking from my observations and experiences from when I hunted deer during the hunting seasons, and at the time, we were allowed to hunt deer with dogs. I would see one dog grab a deer from behind and another go for the throat for the kill. Afterwards, I would signal to the other hunters in ...

Yes, and it was too bad Indiana University of Pennsylvania didn't give out degrees to dogs!

Some years ago, not that long ago, I had a Border Collie/mix dog named Della. While I was living near the university I attended, I had this apartment that allowed pets, so I brought Della with me. One day, I tied Della outside and rode with a friend of mine to school. Two hours later, while I was in...

Camping tips anyone
When you get to your camp site, just walk the dogs around to get used to the surroundings. Otherwise, do with your dogs what you do at home. As long as your dogs know you're around, they will be all right!

Hi Fundog! I don't think coyotes are native to Pennsylvania. The PA Fish & Game Commission imported the coyotes from somewhere out west to control the deer population here in rural Pennsylvania. In my opinion, I don't think the Fish & Game Commission thought about the dangers coyotes pose to...

Fundog, you have mentioned you have coyotes in your area. We have them, too. But be advised! Coyotes will attack dogs, cats, other animals, and people. In my area, there have been reports of such attacks of which there have been deadly consequences to people's pets and livestock. While I was walking...

Hi all I'm new
Have you ever watched any shows in which riders make clicking noises to make their horses go? I've tried that with my dog and it works! At first you might get that "dumb look" that dogs give, however, they catch on very quickly, so try that.
