When I train my dog(s) to swim, I hold onto their bodies until they get the hang of it. Nevertheless, I keep my eyes on them, especially in deep water! Swimming is a great cardivascular exercise for both human and dog!

That is good story about your dog rescuing the oppossum (sorry about the spelling) family, but I have a good question: How did your dog manage to get that close to the opposums without being attacked?
