ok so been to the vet this morning - check up was fine, blood test apparently was fine... I've been given some tablets for her - Epiphen 30mg - and told to give her one tab twice a day then take her back for another check up in 3 weeks. Not entirely sure I want to drug her up to be honest, might do ...

Thanks Mattie I can't *think* of anything changed or different with her - I did take her with me to my parents for Christmas but she had the first one last week before that... I'll have to start keeping a diary, hopefully I'll notice something if it's all written down, it's not nice to see her like ...

Seizures/fits
Hi guys Teagan had a fit this morning, she had one last week too. I rang the emergency vet (being Sunday) and was told to just let her be to get over it herself, now she's had a second one though I need to take her in tomorrow to be checked over. Just wondering if anyone here has dogs that have fits...

drying out tripe
I have some frozen tripe chunks I want to dry out and use for treats...
do I just defrost it, chop it up and stick it on a baking tray in the oven on a low heat for a hour or so?

Retained puppy tooth
Teagan (11mo beagle *****) I think has retained a puppy tooth. It's at the front of her mouth and the new tooth looks like it has grown normally, the little tooth has kind of been pushed up and forwards. She is eating and drinking normally, and it doesn't appear to be causing her any pain - I have m...

Re: Dead stuff
Is it dangerous at all? and there was a still-alive-but-drenched-in-doggy-saliva-and-very-shaken-up mouse on the floor. I'm so sorry but this made me LOL! I have a large (70+lb) dog who is horrible at that same game! I'll come into the kitchen after work and find her in her penned off section with ...

Eek Bingles I hope she doesn't howl!? She has one mean howl and would keep the whole street awake! Going to add to this thread as I have a few more questions myself regarding seasons: There is a neutered male staffy in the house - they don't sleep together and have separate crates for when noone is ...

I know how you feel Teagan is 8 months and I'm still sympton-spotting for her first season! Her vulva will become more swollen I believe and you likely will see a bloody discharge, probably on her bedding or when she's been sat/laid still for a while. I've only had one ***** come into season while I...

She's a beagle Thistledown, so not huge, but heavier than she looks and not tiny either! Thanks for the links guys, will have a look. Although if any bag will do as Mattie says I'll keep a holdall at the bottom of the ladder and pop her in there, see how it goes... she's not too bad actually, she kn...

Does such a thing exist? Have recently moved and my room is the attic room which is accessed by half ladder/half stair kind of things. Anyway - Teagan can't get up and down on her own, she has very quickly learned to sit at the top/bottom and wait for me to carry her up/down. Just wondering if there...
