Totally a personal choice. We decided to not let our Brit on our bed, but we let her on the guest bed (we don't have a lot of guests living near family, and in an apartment to boot... will most likely change that when we buy our house... but that's another story.) She is allowed on the couch, howeve...

Just watched a rerun of IMOTD - I believe the episode was called Girls vs Boys ~ as you can imagine it was a Mini who would bark/growl/run from the boys of the house and it was dividing the family. Please try and watch it! It's both of your exact situations!! In our family we overcame this problem b...

They can be controlled depending on *how* allergic. We have a cat and a dog and I am slightly allergic to both :) Zyrtec (OTC allergy med) is fine for me but there is also prescription meds and allergy shots - although it can take up to a year for the shots to start working. :| Correct me if I'm wro...

There was a lot to read there, sorry if I missed this... Does she ever scream when you touch her/pick her up? I know she had that weird bathroom episode, but is mostly your husband? We rescued a timid Brittany that warmed up to me quick enough, but my husband could barely touch her, let alone put on...

Woah, is there legit truth to this? That it's a no-no to adopt siblings? I've seen plenty of siblings get along well perfectly well. Yes, they will skirmish like any human/animal siblings, but no threat more then a non-related. Not to say you should leave dogs together unattended, but this is the fi...

My Brit loves catching her kibble so I'll throw the pill to her randomly, usually flanked by pieces of kibble before and after. Hardly even notices... although with her fish oil she'll catch it, spit it out, then eat it off the floor. Maybe it just wasn't what she expected at first, hah. If for some...
