as he i a terrier i would have thought squeaky things would appeal but i wouldnt worry my Harry didnt play with us and toys until we had him for about 2 weeks or so

you need time to settle so dont panic :D ... i would say dont fuss when you leave the room or when you come back in just go about your day as normally as possible... with our dogs any signs of seperation anxiety is treated like so .... its worked for all. leave room close door immediately come back ...

that is so cool i love that dog given me some ideas to try aswell

there are local kids that come to play with my dogs in the garden and one who walks with me but i dont like leaving dogs and children alone to be honest and a walk on their own is full of possible problems. i let a 16 year old take the dog out very occassionally and i have knowm him for a few years ...

i know this is an old thread but i just wanting to put i use old car tyres they are great for piling up to make jump wings or layed flat to weave leap in and out of or if you can secure them safely put together as a tunnel or jump through like a hoop

just to add my penny... i hide treats around the house and get them to find them. toilet role tubes as you say are a firm favourite and the kongs empty or full. my Jake loves footballs and once popped Amber loves them even more ( leather ones) i also put up silly jumps in the yard like old tyres and...

can anyone advise on a good food (dry) for my ute Harry. when we got him he was very very very thin and although he is steadily putting on weight his coat is scurfy and dry what can i add to his diet or a good food to feed please.

oh blimey how aful and scary.... :x :( so lucky you got to the food in time... similar problems here with shooting cats.we are rural so its adult farmers and landowners responsible instead of neutering they just drown or shoot unwanted animals its just so cruel. i hope you and your dogs stay safe xx...

arghhh :x :evil: poor dog looks very uncomfortable i mean seems to be looking after the baby to be fair but if that person thinks this is play it looks like complete madness to me. im sure the dog could end up biting someone trying to touch the baby or even bite the baby if some idiot was to lift it...
