Re: soothing your puppy

That really is a good link. I've had so many arguments about this. I never understand why people get tiny puppies and put them in the laundry room and expect them to not to cry.
Thanks for posting :)

I have ordered some for my friends.

Just a note, I've not tested this on large dogs.

Thank you Mods for letting me post this .

Re: Should I be worried about 'fair'?

I think Bax is just being pushy so carry on asking him to wait etc. Its useful for him to learn some manners in case he meets dogs that are less tolerant than Ki.

Re: Need a lot of help.

Nice post from Judy. What species of birds do you have? There could be two issues here, prey drive towards the bird and resource guarding directed at your other dog. For safety's sake , don't let your birds out of their cage when she is in thr room and dont leave her in there unattended when you go ...

Leadmate helps you grip the lead

Re: Please Help

Can you give him some chew toys that are especially made for made for bull terrier types?

Be very careful about how you handle your dog ,you need avoid pulling on his collar.
Try using positive reinforcement training .

Re: Need advice with hyper puppy!

Don't panic! He sounds like a normal puppy. :) He is only nine weeks so dont expect too much. have a look through the forum to see what advice their is about puppies and look at the old threads. It is hard work caring for a puppy and it gets worse before it gets better. First , don't make yo...

Re: Puppy and toiletting issues

Often pups don't have enough confidence to eliminate from home , you might find she will start eliminating away from home as she grows older .

Is she kept on a lead all the time? Some dogs wont eliminate if they are on a lead.

Re: Two hours 40 minutes...

If he is relaxed at being left for two hours , he could well be fine at being left for four hours without having to build up that time. PIp had SA and still does howl occasionally , I don't usually go out for more than two hours but occasionally I go out for the day and my OH who lives down the road...

Re: More Mods?

That's a good idea.
I was a Mod once on a small forum and we were able to delete and edit posts and that was all.
We were all volunteers and never abused that trust and were very fair.
