Hi, I didn't catch the programme in the end, but echo what Ocelot has to say 100%. Any dog can be agressive, and if not trained and treated correctly will become a nightmare. I really can't add any more to what has already been listed. I am uber careful with my boy, because he is big and people are ...

So sorry about your problem. :( I've learnt something new today - as someone who has always had boys, I never realised that bitches could react like this. Been an eye opener for me. Take care.

Hi, no idea about GD's but my ridgie does the same. I like to think it's a comfort thing, but I'm probably way off beam! He tends to lean more often when I'm in the kitchen facing the work units... I have on occasions got stuck!! ... and when he leans against my Mum well, she has no chance!! :...

Phew!! Thanks for that, I was beginging to wonder!! He looks really funny carrying a white Seal off into the garden! Obviously I check that he hasn't eaten them, but it was just a thought. I only have 2 toys left now... aged 41! and he must think they are no good 'cos he nicks Els' all the time. The...

Hi, It's not quite the same as eating your undies .... but in your travels has anyone known of dogs that like to "nick" soft toys, lick them, mother them and carry them around the house and garden? My boy will sneak into my daughters room, (yes I know at 16!!!) select a soft toy, check no ...

Hi, I'm going to echo what dogsrus said. I had this experience and we "penned" Kato into one area, where his bed was, and it has worked - it took time and we gradually built up the areas where he was allowed and now he has free range of certain rooms. Keep at it you will get there. :D

My 4 yr old Ridgie is ok with small dogs - no threat to him or me, but bigger than a field spaniel, he becomes a hoodie ... hackles, growl, lunge. I've started avoidence techniques and training to try and improve... hopefully we will get there!!.....

I'm so sorry. But it sounds like you have thought long and hard about letting Bramble go. Both dogs will be happier, but please don't beat your self up about it - you have done all the right things. I know it won't make you feel any better. x

Please don't do anything rash, as you said 99% of the time the dogs are ok. No dog is perfect. Training and professional help should be all you need. Just one thought... and I know you'll think I've lost it.... do dogs get hormonal like the rest of us girlies? .... makes me go GRRRR!!! Hang in there...

IMOTD 09/08/07

Yet again another brill episode. Soooo helped me in my thoughts of my Ridgie, although older and more behaved in the home. I've always thought he was scared - we are getting there with the same sort of training - just as I've seen Victoria do in previous episodes - and can't wait for training to sta...
